CaIoT supplies both Android and iOS devices, including iPads, various iPhone versions, and many different Android phones and tablets. We also supply smart TVs and watches.

Does CaIoT provide real time remote access to devices?

Yes, CaIoT enables global access to real devices, allowing you to control them remotely as if you were physically handling them.

Are the devices in CaIoT's Device Lab real devices?

Yes, CaIoT provides a wide variety of real devices to test on. These devices are shown on our default page after signing in. If you would also like to test on Emulators, switch to the 'Ca Emulators' tab.

What is CaIoT's Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) App?

CaIoT's BYOD App allows you to use your own devices for manual and automation testing on the platform. As it's your own devices, you're responsible for any telecom or data usage charges incurred.

What does the term 'Company Devices' refer to?

Using CaIoT's BYOD App, if you have the 'Device Management' or 'Project Manager' role, devices plugged in by you and your organization appear as Company Devices, accessible only by those in your company.

Internship Hybrid / Remote Business Development

Business Development Intern

Support CaIoT’s go-to-market activities for the CaIoT real-device infrastructure platform and CaIoT Camera. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys market research, outreach, partnerships, customer discovery, and startup growth.

What you will work on

Research potential customers including mobile app developers, QA teams, IoT companies, startups, universities, and enterprise technology teams.
Identify sales opportunities for CaIoT Cloud, BYOD device access, private device infrastructure, and CaIoT Camera.
Support outbound campaigns, lead lists, partner outreach, and follow-up communications.
Help improve product messaging, landing page copy, competitive positioning, and customer onboarding material.
Track prospects, feedback, and opportunities in a structured CRM or spreadsheet workflow.
Assist with ecosystem partnerships, startup community outreach, and Canadian market development.

What we are looking for

Strong written communication and professional follow-up skills.
Interest in SaaS, cloud platforms, mobile apps, IoT, QA testing, or security camera products.
Ability to research markets, understand customer pain points, and summarize findings clearly.

Co-op iOS Streaming CaIoT Camera

Software Developer Co-op — iOS Streaming Solution

Help build the iOS streaming foundation for CaIoT Camera so users can broadcast a phone camera over USB, Wi-Fi, and the Internet, and view the live feed from Windows, macOS, Linux, or a secure shared web link.

What you will work on

Build and improve iOS camera streaming workflows for CaIoT Camera.
Work on live video capture, encoding, connection handling, device state, and stream stability.
Support USB, Wi-Fi, and Internet-based viewing workflows where technically feasible.
Collaborate on integration with CaIoT desktop apps for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Help design secure live camera sharing links for remote viewing use cases.
Debug latency, quality, permissions, background behavior, and device compatibility issues.
Document technical decisions, setup steps, and known platform constraints clearly.

What we are looking for

Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with Swift, iOS development, or mobile app development fundamentals.
Understanding of camera APIs, networking, WebRTC, video streaming, sockets, or media pipelines is helpful.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and test on real devices.
Strong debugging mindset and willingness to solve practical device-level problems.

Nice to have

Experience with AVFoundation, ReplayKit, WebRTC, HLS, RTMP, or low-latency streaming.
Knowledge of Electron, Flutter, Node.js, Firebase, cloud functions, or desktop app integrations.
Interest in privacy, secure device access, IoT, camera monitoring, and real-device testing infrastructure.
